OpenAI announced that the MRC system is already deployed on all its large supercomputers used to train its frontier models, including at the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Abilene site and on the Microsoft Fairwater supercomputers. The MRC is now available to the industry through the Open Compute Project, which may facilitate development and wider adoption of technologies built on it.
