Alice & Bob, a quantum computing startup, has entered a joint software development project with the French Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives (CEA) to enable coordinated use of quantum computers and traditional supercomputers. The partners will extend Qaptiva, a software platform developed by the Bull supercomputer manufacturer. CEA and Alice & Bob say the upgraded Qaptiva could directly compete with Nvidia’s CUDA‑Q platform.
