A door-integrated camera is a key element of the Vision 15 washing machine, tracking the cycle from start to finish so the process can be adjusted to the actual condition of the clothes. The camera recognizes the quantity of laundry loaded and recommends an optimal program to minimize energy, water and time. It also detects when differently colored items are loaded together, helping to avoid color runs.

The feature called AI Vision Sense checks before a program starts whether the drum is empty; during washing it monitors foam levels and intervenes when necessary; and at the end of the cycle it inspects for items trapped in the machine. Alerts requiring user action appear on the control panel and are also sent to the Haier hOn mobile application.

The machine also uses the AI Power Sense System, a suite of nine coordinated sensors that detect load weight and balance, water level and temperature. Based on these inputs the washer adjusts detergent dosing, drum motion, motor operation and program settings.

Learning algorithms, dosing and mixing

Algorithms that learn from user preferences, branded by Haier as AI Memory, analyze usage patterns: they identify frequently chosen programs and preferred settings and refine future recommendations accordingly. The intelligent operation includes AI Smart Dosing and Ultra Mix Pro. The system calculates the required detergent amount for the load, pre-mixes detergent, water and air, then distributes the solution with a high-pressure water jet. According to Haier, this helps the detergent penetrate deeper into fibers while reducing waste and inaccurate dosing.

Post-wash airflow and hygiene

After a washing program, the system periodically circulates fresh air in the drum and gently moves the garments to help maintain freshness, reduce creasing and prevent unpleasant odors. The airflow also aids drying of the drum and door gasket, contributing to a more hygienic interior even if the door remains closed.

Dryer: Ultra Sense and Ultra Reverse Drum

The accompanying Vision 15 dryer applies similar technologies to detect and interpret the actual condition of garments. Unlike traditional sensors that primarily measure surface moisture, the Ultra Sense performs a three-dimensional scan of the load and, Haier says, can detect residual moisture in the inner layers of padded or multi-layer items such as duvets, coats and large textiles. The system continuously modifies the cycle until it confirms that garments are dry both inside and out.

Ultra Sense is complemented by the Ultra Reverse Drum, a two-motor arrangement that alternately rotates the drum in both directions. The bidirectional motion separates textiles more effectively, reduces tangling, creasing and ‘‘clumping,’’ and promotes more even air distribution through the load.

Exhibition and partnership announcement

Haier presented the Vision 15 lineup at a technology exhibition in Berlin. At the same event the company showed a range of other appliances, including refrigerators and televisions, and announced that it will be a global partner of the UEFA Champions League for four seasons starting with 2027/28.
