Harness team distributes open-source, runtime-agnostic persistence infrastructure to every harness

The Harness team announced that it is extending an open-source, runtime-agnostic persistence infrastructure—similar to the one for AISDK and the Workflow that runs Eve—to every harness (for example Pi and OpenCode), and to local, Vercel, or DIY environments. The solution can make models, including Claude Code and Codex, persistent and observable, although those models are not optimized for embeddings, which imposes efficiency and portability limits.
