Jászai Gellért, chairman and chief executive officer of 4iG Group, met in Abu Dhabi with senior figures from the United Arab Emirates' energy and industrial development sectors to discuss potential investments in the energy industries of Central and Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans.

Attendees included Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the United Arab Emirates' Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC); the chief executive chairman of XRG; the chair of Masdar; and Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, chief executive officer of Masdar. Conversations covered potential energy and infrastructure projects, the rising power demands of data centers and artificial intelligence, and the deployment of smart grids.

Participants also addressed how energy, digital and telecommunications infrastructures are increasingly interlinked, creating new models for investment and development. The discussions aimed to map out possible strategic cooperation to support the energy and digital transition in the targeted regions.
