LifeSciBench: new benchmark for measuring AI support of life sciences research

A benchmark called LifeSciBench was introduced, developed by 173 biotechnology and pharmaceutical researchers; it contains 750 expert tasks for seven biological research workflows. Its aim is to measurably improve AI's real research support and to develop tools.
