Novák Katalin, appearing as a staff member of Aranyklinika and a former President of Hungary, participated in the inaugural Szeged EgészségFeszt (HealthFest) and demonstrated the IMBODY smart training machine to attendees, the Délmagyar reported. The festival took place at the Gellért Szabadidőközpont, and more than 260 people had registered in advance.
The event was organized by the Délmagyarországi Allergiás és Tüdőbeteg Gyermekekért Alapítvány, with Aranyklinika and Kabay Patika as prominent partners. Organizers said the actual turnout exceeded expectations, and one of the festival’s main attractions was the presentation of modern healthcare and fitness technologies.
The IMBODY device is an artificial-intelligence-supported trainer that offers over 500 exercises. Instead of conventional weight plates, it uses digitally controlled resistance, allowing load to be adjusted precisely to each user.
Novák Zoltán, a pediatric pulmonologist, head of the foundation and co-founder of Aranyklinika, said the festival was intended to create a more informal meeting format between doctors and families. He added that the team is already working on continuing the event in the future.
