IVSZ — Digitális Vállalkozások Szövetsége held its annual general meeting in Budapest on Thursday. Representatives of the association’s membership, which comprises more than 250 organizations, approved the reports presented and elected the leadership for the coming period.
Re-election of Vinnai Balázs
Vinnai Balázs was re-elected as president of the association. Vinnai has been involved with IVSZ since 2007 and has served as its president since 2020.
Board and section leadership appointments
In addition to the re-elected president, the membership chose new board and section leaders:
- Pikéthy Árpád, Chief Executive Officer of IBM Magyarország, was elected as head of the IT section and as a board member.\
- Deliága Ákos, co-founder of the corporate chatbot provider Talk-A-Bot, was elected as head of the startup and scale-up section and as a board member.
Two general board members were also elected:
- Matécsa Márta (McKinsey, partner) joined the IVSZ board for the first time.\
- Nieder Jenő (PortfoLion, deputy CEO) returns to the board, having previously served in that role.
AI Competence Center and European projects
In her report, Tajthy Krisztina, IVSZ secretary general, highlighted that the association will continue the AI Kompetencia Központ (AI Competence Center) project launched in 2025. The center aims to support domestic software-developing small and medium-sized enterprises in delivering successful, effective AI-based projects by providing expert support, information sharing and a sandbox environment.
The association also remains actively involved in several European initiatives, including DigitalTech EDIH, CyberHubs and COcyber. These programs offer professional training, knowledge transfer and innovation support to Hungarian companies, with particular emphasis on AI and cybersecurity.
The approved reports and elected leadership underscore IVSZ’s strategic priorities: supporting digital enterprises, accelerating AI adoption, and strengthening cybersecurity capabilities in Hungary.
