Belgian defence-technology company IDDEA has introduced MEGA Army Solution, an artificial-intelligence driven battlefield reconnaissance and decision-support platform capable of fully offline operation. The system delivers real-time target identification and tactical data to frontline units, drone swarms and air-defence networks.
Designed for GPS-denied and disconnected environments
MEGA Army Solution is specifically built for complex combat environments where GPS signals are jammed or unavailable and cloud-based connections are fragile or disrupted. In addition to offline operation, the platform uses autonomous target identification, sensor fusion and rapid information distribution to shorten battlefield response times and improve joint-force tactical coordination.
Precise vehicle identification at model and variant level
Where conventional military recognition applications often identify only a broad equipment category, MEGA Army Solution’s onboard AI module and integrated offline military database can determine the exact model and variant of a target. The system can, for example, distinguish between the American M1A2 Abrams, the German Leopard 2A6 and Russian T-72B3 or T-90 tanks, and it provides immediate tactical capability analyses for each.
