Following a recent update, the ChatGPT app now shows a new "Scheduled" shortcut in its left sidebar. Clicking this shortcut opens a single view that lists tasks users have previously scheduled with the chatbot, making the previously less-visible feature easier to find and manage.
The new interface provides the following capabilities:
- View all active scheduled tasks in one place.
- See when each task is scheduled to run.
- Edit or delete scheduled tasks.
OpenAI has also enhanced scheduled commands so that ChatGPT can perform tasks not only at exact times but within broader time ranges—for example, sometime in the morning, afternoon, or evening. This improvement was noted by Engadget.
The update is currently being rolled out to subscribers; OpenAI says free-tier users can expect to receive the feature soon.
