Claude and Claude Cowork have received a shared memory controlled by the user

Claude and Claude Cowork now use a shared memory into which the user can decide what is placed. As a result, Cowork can immediately access information from previous conversations for tasks — for example about projects, manager preferences, or client data — which can improve continuity and the efficiency of task handovers.
