Examining the variability of values represented by Claude models across multiple models and languages

Previous research on Claude language models found they express more than 3,000 values; the new study mapped how these values vary across different Claude models and languages. More than 300,000 anonymized conversations were analyzed, which may provide important insights for alignment and cultural biases.
