Glow, a Palo Alto–headquartered cybersecurity startup founded by former Meta and Snowflake executives, announced it has come out of stealth with a $180 million all-equity Series A that values the company at $1.2 billion. The financing was backed by Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks and Redpoint Ventures, with participation from Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective and Holly Ventures.

Why it matters

Companies are increasingly deploying AI tools while attackers use generative AI to automate phishing, develop malware and mount more sophisticated attacks. Concern about AI-assisted cyberattacks rose after Anthropic unveiled its Mythos model, which the company said demonstrated advanced capabilities for identifying and exploiting software vulnerabilities. Glow’s founders argue this shift requires new approaches to endpoint security.

What Glow does

Founded in 2025, Glow is building an endpoint security platform intended to monitor and control the software, AI agents and developer tools running on employee devices. The startup says its platform employs specialized AI agents to continuously map enterprise environments, assess risk in real time and enforce security policies.

"If you think of the past decade, everything was moving to the cloud and SaaS. Suddenly, AI lands on the endpoint in a way we’ve never seen," said Roi Tiger, Glow’s co-founder and CEO, in an interview.

Founders and leadership

Glow was co-founded by Roi Tiger, a former Meta vice president of engineering; Omer Singer, former head of cybersecurity strategy at Snowflake; Ophir Arie, former vice president of research and development at Claroty; and Arnon Joseph, a former Meta engineering leader. The leadership team also includes chief operating officer Emily Heath, previously chief information security officer at United Airlines and DocuSign and a former partner at Cyberstarts.

Customers, deployment and technology

Although it has only just emerged from stealth, Glow says it already has paying customers in healthcare, retail and financial services, but declined to disclose customer names or counts. Tiger said typical deployments span tens of thousands of employee devices across global organizations.

To power the platform, Glow uses AI models from Anthropic and Google’s Gemini via Amazon Bedrock, while building its own software to provide enterprise context and improve the models’ reliability for security tasks.

According to Tiger, the platform has already prevented malicious npm packages from being installed in customer environments, identified AI agents attempting to pull in such components, and detected employee devices where endpoint detection and response tools were missing or operating with reduced functionality.

Market context and team

Glow is entering a crowded endpoint security market led by firms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft, SentinelOne and Palo Alto Networks. Tiger said existing endpoint detection and response products focus primarily on detecting threats after they appear, whereas Glow is designed to keep risky software, AI agents and developer tools out of enterprise environments in the first place.

The startup employs nearly 100 people, roughly 70% of whom are based in Israel and the remainder in the U.S.

Outlook

Whether AI-native endpoint security platforms will become a distinct category remains uncertain, as enterprises are only beginning to contend with the security implications of increasingly capable AI models. Glow’s funding and product approach indicate investors and founders see a market opportunity in preventing AI-driven and AI-assisted risks at the endpoint.
