The Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Magyar Kereskedelmi és Iparkamara, MKIK) has expanded the KAPTÁR business database with new, artificial intelligence-supported functions, the chamber announced.
New capabilities include a direct messaging feature, Hungarian and English interfaces, and a mobile view. These additions are intended to make finding potential business partners and initiating contact quicker and more direct. The MKIK noted that use of the system is free for companies.
The KAPTÁR database currently contains nearly 1,800 company profiles. To date, the platform has enabled more than 2,400 partner searches. The service is accessible at kaptar.mkik.hu; after registering, companies can present their activities, industrial capacities, and business needs.
With these updates, the MKIK aims to modernize channels among economic actors and improve efficiency, particularly to encourage cooperation in capacity sharing and supplier relationships.
