Magyar Telekom has expanded its Hello Biznisz platform with the launch of the Telekom Digitalization Assistant, a free AI-based tool available to everyone. The assistant is designed to help small businesses navigate digitalization by providing simple, step-by-step guidance on relevant digital solutions.
Built for Hungarian small businesses
During development, the company emphasized that the assistant’s answers should reflect the daily realities of Hungarian small businesses and the specifics of the domestic market. The tool targets firms that often lack a dedicated digitalization specialist and where strategic development decisions fall to the owners or managers.
The announcement highlights existing gaps in digital adoption among Hungarian SMEs: for example, two-thirds of companies with fewer than ten employees do not have a website, and many businesses do not plan digital investments in the coming years. Telekom positions the Digitalization Assistant as a support aimed at these shortcomings.
What the assistant offers
The Telekom Digitalization Assistant provides personalized, practical advice tailored to a company’s profile, maturity level and business objectives. It breaks down recommendations into concrete steps and accompanies entrepreneurs through the implementation process—from initial steps until the new digital tool becomes part of daily operations.
Its knowledge base draws on Hello Biznisz’s accumulated professional materials developed over years, including D-plans that showcase successful SME digitalization projects, expert articles and educational content. While the assistant offers specific suggestions, final decisions remain with the business owners. The service is available at hellobiznisz.hu.
Testing and ongoing development
A testing phase preceded the public launch, during which active small businesses provided real questions and feedback to refine the assistant. Magyar Telekom says it will continue to develop the system after launch, shaped by user needs and experiences.
Awareness campaign
Actor and comedian Péter Janklovics is participating in the outreach to make digitalization options more understandable and accessible to local entrepreneurs. Campaign content will appear soon on television and social media channels.
