OpenAI gives free access to cutting-edge models for academic researchers

OpenAI launched the ChatGPT for Academic Researchers program, which provides free access to cutting-edge language models for 10,000 researchers (scientists, mathematicians, and engineers) and will expand eligibility to 100,000 users by 2027; the aim is to accelerate discoveries across multiple scientific fields.
