Record opening: 62% open token usage on the Vercel AI Gateway

On August 22 the share of open tokens on the Vercel AI Gateway reached a record: 62% open vs. 38% closed, compared with 28.4% open measured on June 24. The rapid increase signals enterprise adoption and the need to transform CLIs, SDKs, and IDEs to be model-agnostic.
