Startup used its own AI agent to lead a $100M Series B at about $500M valuation

Lyzr, a three-year-old startup based in Jersey City that helps enterprises build AI agents, relied on its in-house system, SivaClaw, to handle much of its latest fundraising. According to Bloomberg, SivaClaw answered questions from more than 130 investors, drafted investment memos and tracked which pitch slides investors spent the most time on.

The company says the AI effectively ran its $100 million Series B round, at an implied valuation of roughly $500 million. The process also served as a live demonstration that the product works: the same agent used to engage investors was the company’s commercial offering.

Bloomberg’s reporting highlights how little traditional legwork was required. Lyzr told the outlet it generated about $400 million of investor interest from Silicon Valley, the Middle East and financial-sector investors without founders having to fly out for the usual in-person meetings along Sand Hill Road.

This episode underscores two trends: practical deployment of AI agents in business workflows, and an abundant supply of capital chasing AI opportunities. For startups with traction, personal travel and conventional roadshows may be less necessary than in prior funding cycles, as automated outreach and remote engagement can attract nine-figure rounds.

Key factual points from the reporting include Lyzr’s location and age (Jersey City, three years), the AI agent’s name (SivaClaw), investor engagement (more than 130 investors), the round size ($100 million Series B), the approximate valuation (~$500 million), and the roughly $400 million of expressed investor interest. These details were reported by Bloomberg.
