The Unitree H2, a full‑size humanoid robot, is now offered in Hungary through INFUZE Robotics, the official local representative of Unitree. The platform, which made its world debut earlier, stands as a notable development for robotics R&D and industrial automation. The robot measures 182 cm in height and weighs roughly 70 kilograms.
Mechanical design and specifications
The H2's frame uses aerospace‑grade aluminium, titanium alloys and high‑strength engineering plastics. It features human‑like degrees of freedom: six per leg, seven per arm, three at the waist and two in the head, enabling walking, turning and bending motions that resemble human movement. Arm peak torque is 120 Nm, leg peak torque is 360 Nm, and a single arm has a nominal payload of approximately 7 kilograms.
The robot is powered by an intelligent battery that provides about three hours of operation. Its motion‑control algorithms can be updated over the air (OTA), allowing functional upgrades after purchase.
Sensing, vision and autonomy
The H2 includes a wide‑angle binocular camera in the head and can be optionally equipped with LiDAR, supplying three‑dimensional environmental data. These sensors support work on perception, mapping, autonomous navigation and integration of perception with manipulation and locomotion.
Available configurations and intended uses
Unitree offers the H2 in three main configurations:
- H2 Basic: an entry model intended for technology demos and motion demonstrations.
- H2 EDU Standard: aimed at education and research, supporting the software development kit (SDK) and including a dedicated onboard computer for running user developments.
- H2 PLUS Smart: the highest‑compute variant, shipped with an NVIDIA Jetson Thor module and 128 GB of memory, suitable for running larger AI models locally without continuous cloud connection.
The EDU Standard and PLUS Smart versions can be fitted with various robotic hands, from simple grippers to three‑ and five‑fingered end effectors with touch sensing, enabling more complex object handling and bimanual tasks.
Research, development and demonstration roles
The platform targets university labs, academic research centers and corporate development teams. It enables testing of motion‑control algorithms on a real, human‑sized robot, experiments in reinforcement learning, work on coordinated two‑arm manipulation, and development of teleoperation capabilities.
"With the arrival of the H2, a full‑size, high‑performance humanoid development platform becomes available in Hungary. This allows domestic universities, research institutes and corporate teams to test their solutions on a real‑scale robot in environments designed for people: for example, how to reach a workspace, grasp and relocate objects, or use both arms in coordination. Developments can thus account for human‑scale distances, heights and object layouts," said Körömi János, CEO of INFUZE Robotics.
Besides R&D, the H2 can serve as an attention‑getting element at technology showcases, events and corporate presentations; rental options are available for such occasions.
Local support, commissioning and price
INFUZE Robotics provides not only sales but also assistance with selecting the right configuration, system integration, commissioning and operator training. The Unitree H2 configurations are now orderable in Hungary, with an official local starting price of HUF 16,990,000 (gross). INFUZE Robotics supplies information on current stock, estimated delivery times and rental possibilities to interested parties.
