A survey conducted by Serverelite among nearly 500 company leaders, IT professionals and system administrators found that 92 percent of Hungarian firms already use some form of artificial intelligence (AI). However, in almost two-thirds of those companies AI use remains experimental or is limited to a few specific areas.
Where AI is used broadly
Only 27 percent of the companies reported broader-scale AI adoption. The most common use cases among those organizations are:
- programming
- data analysis
- document processing
Barriers to wider adoption
Andrea Marosán, Managing Director of Serverelite, said that infrastructural shortcomings and high costs are slowing AI adoption. According to the survey, 42 percent of respondents spend less than 50,000 forints per month on AI services.
Why this matters
The results indicate that while AI is widely present and familiar to many organizations, deeper integration and scaled deployment are still missing in a large share of companies. Limited budgets and infrastructure constraints mean many firms are not yet realizing the full potential of AI.
