Győr Mayor Pintér Bence announced on his Facebook page on Friday that he has filed a complaint with the authorities against former Fidesz municipal representative Hajtó Péter. According to the mayor, Hajtó received a total of 13 million forints in public funds for a document that the mayor describes as generated by artificial intelligence and of little value.
Contract terms and payments
Pintér stated that Hajtó Péter was contracted as a "business development coordinator" at Ipari Park Kft., a subsidiary of the municipally owned Győr-Szol Zrt., between February 2025 and March 2026. The mayor said Hajtó was paid a gross one million forints per month; over roughly 13 months this amounts to about a gross 13 million forints in total.
According to the mayor, the performance records show little evidence of substantial work: the documentation mostly lists alleged verbal meetings, consultations and coordination.
Characteristics of the AI-produced document
Pintér said Hajtó spent 13 months preparing a document that was completed in March 2026, but was only recently reviewed by the mayor. He wrote that it was "hard to decide whether to cry or laugh after seeing the document's contents."
The mayor described the material as filled on every page with generic, meaningless phrasing typical of AI-generated content, English keywords, ad‑hoc numbers, and distorted images that attempt to portray Győr in forms that never existed. Pintér stated he is convinced the document was not worth the city paying a gross 13 million forints.
Proposed political response
Beyond filing the complaint, Pintér said he will propose at the next city council meeting that Hajtó Péter be removed from his committee positions.
Hajtó Péter's previous notoriety
Hajtó gained national attention in 2023 when, intoxicated and wearing shorts and no shoes, he appeared on stage during the August 20 celebration, swore and urged people to support Borkai Zsolt, a few weeks after he had been expelled from or left the city Fidesz faction.
Further legal and political developments will determine whether the complaint leads to formal charges or other consequences.
