Higgsfield expands creator tools with GPT‑6 Astra, GPT‑Image‑2.5 and voice workflows

Higgsfield AI says new models let creators produce videos longer than 10 minutes, generate clearer on-image text and infographics, and move toward real-time voice-driven filmmaking.

Higgsfield expands creator tools with GPT‑6 Astra, GPT‑Image‑2.5 and voice workflows

Higgsfield AI aims to make professional video and image production accessible to anyone with an idea. The company says recent models — including GPT‑6 Astra, GPT‑Image‑2.5 and GPT‑Live — enable creators to produce longer, more precise and even voice-driven workflows.

Longer videos and improved consistency

Previously, Higgsfield’s generated videos typically topped out at around one minute. Alex Mashrabov, CEO and co‑founder of Higgsfield AI, says that with GPT‑6 Astra users can now create videos longer than 10 minutes. Beyond length, GPT‑6 Astra lets the platform’s creative agents call external tools for complex, manual 3D modeling work, which helps maintain visual consistency across longer projects.

Use cases and practical outcomes

Higgsfield AI’s own YouTube channel has nearly half a million subscribers and offers tutorials on using AI models and workflows. According to the company, producing that instructional content previously required substantial manual effort; with GPT‑6 Astra they have built workflows that generate instructional videos over 10 minutes long.

Mashrabov also cites a personal application: supporting rural schools in Kazakhstan. Using GPT‑6 Astra’s visual understanding, the team identified topics students struggled with and produced tailored instructional videos addressing those needs.

Clear on-image text and infographics with GPT‑Image‑2.5

For small businesses making promotional material, readable text and accurate infographics on images are often as important as the visual itself. Higgsfield AI says GPT‑Image‑2.5 enables this kind of content for teams without large production budgets. “GPT‑Image‑2.5 is state of the art and the first model of its kind that can reliably render the text and infographics on top of the imagery,” Alex Mashrabov says.

From prototypes to production: Codex and the team

Higgsfield AI develops its product through close collaboration between roughly 200 creative professionals and 100 engineers. Creatives use Codex to turn ideas into software prototypes; according to Mashrabov, Codex gives the creative team "the power of a really strong software engineer." Previously, moving prototypes into production required heavy front‑end and back‑end engineering involvement; GPT‑6 Astra has reduced the work needed to bring those ideas into the product, decreasing friction between prototyping and production.

Toward "voice to movie"

Higgsfield AI’s next ambition is to let creators describe an idea orally and see it take shape as they speak. Alex Mashrabov calls this vision "voice to movie," where AI understands a creator’s spoken intention and renders their vision in real time. He points to OpenAI’s progress in planning, tool calling, image generation and voice as bringing that experience closer, and describes their voice model as "best in class for voice understanding and just for regular communication."

For Higgsfield AI, the goal is to make filmmaking feel more like describing an idea, with AI handling the intermediate work and repetitive production tasks.
