OpenAI focuses on understanding models and regulating the pace of development

OpenAI said it is currently focusing on a deeper understanding of its models and using that to schedule further capability development. Its goal is to create controllable, accountable, and human-aligned AI systems so that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits everyone.
