OpenAI to deploy the Jalapeño model into its computing infrastructure by year-end

OpenAI announced that it will begin deploying the Jalapeño model into its own computing infrastructure by the end of the year; this is the first step in a multi-generation roadmap. Gen 2 is under development, Gen 3 is emerging, and all three generations enhance efficiency and speed.
