Floqer is a customer-knowledge platform that uses autonomous AI agents to continuously collect, organize and update information business-to-business sales and marketing teams rely on to find and track prospects.
The startup is pitching on the Startup Battlefield stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 on Wednesday, and told TechCrunch ahead of the presentation that it plans to open-source the technology behind its autonomous customer knowledge database. Floqer is targeting an early 2027 release for the open-source code, contingent on completing security reviews.
Financials and customers
Floqer reports it has surpassed $1.2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) and that its overall revenue has grown roughly tenfold over the past year. The company was founded in 2024 and has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding, with participation from investors including Perplexity’s F7 Fund, N49P, Tidal Venture Partners, and Perplexity co-founder Denis Yarats. Floqer says it now has eight employees and more than 1,000 customers, among them Perplexity, Wise, and AngelList.
What the platform does
The problem Floqer addresses is familiar to sales and revenue operations teams: identifying target companies and the right contacts requires hours of searching Google, LinkedIn, company websites, job boards and other sources. Floqer’s system lets users describe what they are looking for, then runs autonomous AI agents that search across multiple sources to assemble lists of relevant companies and contacts.
Floqer says its system can enrich accounts using over 100 third-party data sources to add detail about target companies. For verified email addresses or phone numbers it employs a “waterfall” approach: the system queries one data provider after another until it finds usable information.
The platform also continuously monitors web signals for changes. If a prospect changes jobs, is promoted, or their company raises new funding, those updates can be reflected in the user’s customer records. According to Floqer, customers have reported cutting prospecting time by as much as 70%.
Origins and product pivot
Floqer was founded by Shivam Mahajan (CEO) and Zaaheda Islam, who met at university. Prior to Floqer, Mahajan worked as a software engineer at Kyndryl and Islam was a senior data scientist at Axis Capital. The company’s first product was a Chrome extension called “Super Chat,” which allowed users to log in with a ChatGPT account to take notes and understand information. Enterprise customers began using that extension to clean CRM data, a discovery that led the founders to pivot toward building an autonomous customer knowledge platform.
Open-source plans and security reviews
Floqer says the move to open-source is partly a response to customer demand: some companies want to host their own data, and others want to modify or build on the technology. Mahajan described the company’s mission as enabling teams to build a central source of growth.
Because the database can contain sensitive customer information and is already used by large companies, Floqer is conducting security reviews before making the code public.
Conclusion
Floqer represents a commercial application of autonomous AI agents to automate research-heavy workflows in B2B sales. The company reports rapid growth and established customers, and plans to release its core technology as open-source software in early 2027 if security assessments are satisfactory.
